New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday said his visit to the United States would be an opportunity to strengthen Indo-US comprehensive global strategic partnerships and consolidate relations with Japan and Australia.
“I will visit the United States from September 22-25, 2021 at the invitation of His Majesty President Joe Biden from the United States.
During my visit, I will review the Comprehensive Indian Global Strategic Partnership with President Biden and Exchange.
The views on regional problems and Global about shared interest, “Prime Minister said.
“I also look forward to meeting Vice President Kamala Harris to explore opportunities for cooperation between our two countries, especially in the fields of science and technology,” he added.
The prime minister will also participate in the first quad leader summit first with President Biden, Scott Morrison’s Prime Minister of Australia and Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga from Japan, the statement quoted Modi.
The Quad Summit provides an opportunity to take the supply of virtual summit results in March this year and identify priorities for future involvement based on a shared vision for the Indo-Pacific region.
He will also meet Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and Prime Minister Suga from Japan to take stock of strong bilateral relations with their respective countries and continue the exchanges that are useful in regional and global problems.
Modi visits will conclude with the address at the United Nations General Assembly, with a focus on urgent global challenges including Covid-19 pandemics, the need to fight terrorism, climate change and other important problems.
