The Afghan government imposes nighttime hours to stem Taliban Advance: Officials

KABUL: Afghan authorities on Saturday impose curfew time across 31 of the 34 provinces in the country to curb violence soaring released by a sweeping Taliban attack in the past few months, the Interior Ministry said.
“To curb violence and limit the movement of the Taliban, night curfects have been enacted in 31 provinces throughout the country,” except in Kabul, Panjshir and Nangarhar, the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
The curfew will apply between 10:00 a.m.
and 4:00 local time, Ahmad Zia Zia, a spokesman for Deputy Ministry of Interior in a separate audio statement to reporters.
Since the beginning of May, the Taliban has launched a large attack throughout the country who has seen guerrillas capturing border crossings, dozens of districts and surrounds several provincial capitals.
With the withdrawal of foreign troops led by America, but complete, the rise of Taliban now controls about half of the 400 Afghan districts.
