Tehran: The Afghan government delegation met with the Taliban representatives on Wednesday Tehran, the Iranian Foreign Ministry said, when Islamic militias had swept the northern region amid the withdrawal of US troops.
Opening Tehran talks, Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif welcomed the departure of the US from East neighbors but warned: “Today the people and political leaders Afghanistan must make difficult decisions for the future of their country.”
