Officials said that the cars were confiscated because of plying without paying taxes, the lack of documentation and the right insurance.
Of the seven vehicles, five are registered in Puducherry, where road tax is lacking, and two in Maharashtra.
Insurance has expired in most cars, officials said.
“People who drive Rolls-Royce Phantom (MH 02 Bb 2) are identified as Salman Khan, who are around 35 years old and come from Vasanthnagar.
His father was reported to buy a car from Bachchan,” said L Narendra Holkar, an additional transportation commissioner (enforcement).

The source said the Rolls-Royce was bought by Babu but his ownership was reported not transferred from the name Bachchan.
However, there are no vehicle details on the Vahan-4 portal.
Babu told reporters that he had directly bought a car from Bachchan.
“My family members use it on Sunday.
They took my vehicle along with other luxury vehicles.
They told me that they would let go when I sent a vehicle document.
The vehicle is still in the name Bachchan,” he said.
