New Delhi: The application process for reception in Delhi’s skills and the University of Entrepreneurship (DSEU) will be closed on Tuesdays and universities are expected to release a list of degree program achievements by the end of this month, official statement said on Monday.
The university opened the reception process to 15 full time diploma courses such as fashion design, tools and dyes, architecture, engineering machinery, aesthetics and beauty therapy, facilities and cleanliness management, etc.

Ashwani Kansal, Registrar, DSEU said, “The incoming Diploma course will be offered based on shared entrance tests, scheduled for August 28.
To enter 11 superior degree programs, the university will offer acceptance on the basis of the achievement list.”
He said the list of achievements would be made based on three components – the percentage in class XII, extra-curricular activities (ECA) and a little weight will be given to students who have taken vocational subjects at the school level, because it is a university of skills.

The general entrance test will be a bilingual examination which is divided into several parts.
“Following the norms, the university has released guidelines for the general entry test policy for the disabled personnel (PWD) category,” said Kansal.
Professor Neharika Vohra, Deputy Chancellor, DSEU said the list of achievements for the Diploma course will be released in the first week of September this year while the list of achievements to enter the degree program is expected to be released at the end of August.
“The candidates will fill their preferences for diploma programs and titles from September 4 to September 7,” he added.
The university also offers six B.Tech programs such as mechanical and automation techniques, computer science techniques, tool techniques, among others.
“Entering the six courses this will be done through Joint Registration Counseling (JAC) Delhi based on Joint Entrance examinations (JEE),” he said.
Among the degree courses offered, the university also offers a master of computer applications (MCA), which will be based on the list of achievements made based on the score of nimcet 2021, and for M.Tech Tool Engineering, merit will be made on the base of the gate score, he added.
Dseu has extended the last registration date for the program until August 17, given the delay in class 10 and 12 results last month.
