New Delhi: Trying to deal with Chinese forces, the Indian Army attracted units involved in counter-terrorism operations in the North Command Region to spread them along the actual control line in the East Ladakh area a few months ago.
The counter-terrorism division was pulled out of operation from the North Command and deployed in the Ladakh sector a few months ago.
“The formation of the size of the division (around 15,000 troops) was transferred from countertra operations to the Ladakh area to overcome the possibility of the efforts of Chinese people to show aggression there,” said the government’s sources of Ani.
The movement of the formation has helped the army to maintain a reserve assigned to surgery along the northern border.
The backup formation is positioned in the sugar sector is trained for high mountain warfare and doing war games in cold desert areas in Ladakh every year.
Since last year, they have been involved in a plan with China since last year.
Sarminis has filled the gap created because of the division movement to the forward position available for it.
India has deployed around 50,000 soldiers in the East Ladakh sector and has helped increase the level of force more than doubled.
Given China’s aggression, 14 corps in Leh now have two divisions below to take care of the Chinese border including 3 tribal divisions.
Some additional armored units have been deployed in the area that saw mobilization of heavy troops since last year.
Last year in April-May, Chinese people were moving in troops quickly from the exercises across the East Ladakh and beyond several locations.
The Indian government responded in a large way and mobilized the number of troops that were almost the same to make Chinese people check.
This situation worsens to the point where the bullets are fired on the Chinese border after more than four decades and 20 Indian soldiers lose life in clashes with Chinese people who have hidden their number of dead people in Galwan Valley Clash of the Galwan on June 3 years.
Indian soldiers have since become a very high warning along the LAC and further strengthens its position on LAC.
