SRINAGAR: Indian soldiers in relationships with Mewar University in Jammu and Kashmir launch a special scholarship scheme for higher education for local youth where 300 students get scholarships for various technical courses and other diplomas.
Expenditures will be borne by the Army and the University of Mewar and students must pay some nominal allegations.
Speaking to Ani, Rahul Wandiya, a student, said, “Students get scholarships for higher education.
For certain courses, students must pay only RS 30,000 for all RS 10,000 courses will be returned in the end.”

“This scheme is designed to help poor students.
This will benefit young people, especially those who lose opportunities because of high costs,” he said.
Scholarships will benefit students from Kashmir Valley because universities usually charge high fees for these courses.
Students who come from areas far from Kashmir appreciate the steps of the Indian army.
Shakir Rashid Wani, a student said this was a great initiative by the Army and University.
The sender’s ceremony was held in Srinagar scripts where cultural and entertainment programs were also held for these students.
