New Delhi: Soldiers maintain high operational readiness to fight all efforts to unilaterally change the status quo along the border, with additional power deployed to prevent “military brard”, General MM Naravane said on Friday.
“The Army’s response to these efforts has been quickly, calibrated and firmly as seen when the situation was requested.
We have also instituted additional protection to prevent further efforts in military brinkmanship,” said Gen Naravane, in the address of the day of the troop troops in the middle 20 months military confrontation with China in East Ladakh.
“We believe that differences in perceptions and disputes are best resolved through norms set based on the same and mutual security principles.
Our desire for peace is borne by our attached strength.
It should not be wrong,” he added.
In the Pakistani front, the head of the army said the institutional mechanism and protection to fight terrorism which was sponsored by the next country had been further reinforced, both along the border and inland.
“Our actions have shown our ability to attack sources of terrorism,” he said.
