The Three Member Committee will be led by educational advisors of the state government Prof.
Mihir Kanti Chaudhuri as chairman, the main secretary of the Higher Education B.

The committee that will submit its report within 30 days from the date of notification will formulate a procedure that will be adopted for the empowerment of three Autonomer Universities Assam in harmony with the provisions of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
In addition, the committee will also assess resources (monetary, labor, material, academic, etc.) needed for this purpose.
Furthermore, the committee will also decide on modus operandi to enable this autonomic college to provide its own degree, in addition to creating adequate space for them to make progress in research and training according to NEP 2020.
