Gurgaon: The inauguration of U-turn underpasses that are widely awaited at Delhi-Gurgaon Expressway near Ambience Mall has been more delayed a month due to a stretch clash.
Underpasses now tend to be operational on September 30, officials from the Indian National Highway Authority (NHAI) said.
Previously expected to be opened for traffic on or on August 15.
Nhai officials said finishing work from underpass had been postponed because of the next rain and water.

The contractor has been looking for an extension and said the underpass would be ready for the latest inauguration on September 30.
“Project contractors cannot complete the final work in the past few weeks because of the rain.
Underpass is almost complete and if weather conditions remain profitable, we expect an underpass open to traffic at the end of September.
But we have also asked the contractor to speed up work and try to submit underpasses For inauguration before this time limit, “said a senior Nhai official.
According to project contractors, construction work was completed in July and they expect to submit a project in mid-August.
However, it rains, plays spoilsport and delays the work of the final touch.
“Underpass is ready and we also want to throw it away for the earliest traffic.
But for projects like this underpass, rain is a curse.
We can’t do anything but wait until the water recedes and safe to work,” said an RK official.
Contractor, this project.
