Canberra: Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said on Thursday that he had asked the Minister of State Minister for a while to retreat during an investigation into alleged extramustive affair.
The minister, Alan Tudge, on Thursday was accused physically and emotionally misused a former staff member.
He said he was “completely and truly rejected the accusations” about relationships, which he thought happened in 2017 and consensual.
But Morrison said the severity of the allegations meant that Tudge had to retreat.
“It is very important that these things are resolved fairly and quickly.
For this purpose, the Minister has agreed to my request to put aside while these problems are intended by my department,” Morrison told Members of Parliament Australia.
