The automatic flashlight makes wild elephants away from the village

Coimbatore: Wild elephants have stopped robbing monomblery, Thaimudi Estate and Thonimudi Estate in Valparai after the forest department officials installed an automatic flashlight a week ago.
According to officials of the senior forest department, elephant flocks are accustomed to storming ration shops in villages on the outskirts of the forest for rice.
“A herds damaged a ration shop in the high forest area last month.
When the rice bag shifts to a temple, the herd penetrates the main door of the temple and eating rice,” said the Anamalai Tiger Reserve (ATR) field director said.
This encourages officials to install two pre-pre-protected lights in monombloy.
“We installed a 30-foot lamp from the Ration Shop a week ago.
They emit red, blue and white light, giving a person’s impression of patrolling.
Elephants now stop visiting the villages.
Driven by the results, we installed lights at Thimudi Estate and Thonimudi Estate,” Words Ganesan.
“Based on the results of the trial, we will apply a method to examine human conflicts in Monombolly and Valparai Forest Ranges.” But the lights are not enough to scare the leopard, officially more.
