New Delhi: The average daily vaccination against Covid-19 increased to 40.3 doses of lakh in June, driven by a leap because the center took over the procurement and supply of 75% of JABS produced domestically since June 21.
The average daily vaccination of rolling peaked between June 21-28 with 57.7 doses of lakh given per day, which is also the highest weekly average in the world, except China that has provided more than one billion doses.
Among other countries, Brazil recorded a weekly average of 10.4 lakh doses, 8.7 lakh in the US, 8.1 lakh in Germany, 5.9 lakh in France, 5.5 lakh in Italy and 3.5 Lakh in England, said government sources.
Of the 4.6 crore doses given between June 21-28, more than 86% are the first dose, which underlines the expansion in Covid vaccination coverage because more people from different age groups receive Jab with Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Gujarat, Maximum dose amount.
At present, around 45% of more than 45 years of population have received at least the first dose of Jab, while 11% have obtained both.
While Tripura has more than 97.9% of estimates above 45 populations vaccinated with the first dose, countries such as Himachal Pradesh, J & K, Ladakh, Lakshadweep, Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Kerala, Mizoram, Sikkim and Uttarakhand also include more than 60%.

Among people aged 18-44 years, almost 15% have received at least the first dose.
Daman & Diu has achieved the maximum coverage so far with 73% of the population in this age band accepts at least the first dose.
In addition, Sikkim, Dadar & Nagar Haveli, Goa, Himachal, Arunachal Pradesh, Ladakh, Lakshdweep, Mizoram and Tripura also have more than 30% coverage with the first dose in this category.
Coverage among health workers and front lines – which are left for some time even though the push repeatedly – has increased recently with 87% HCWS and 91% FLW covered with the first dose, while 62% HCWS and 49% of flws and 49% are now fully vaccinated.
