Panaji: The average rainfall in Goa this year has crossed the normal value for the total rainy season, recorded 2,975mm on September 14.
During the rainy season last year, this level was violated around August 13.
Except for August, Southwest Monsun has provided normal or higher rainfall from normal, the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) reported.
