A bench consisting of L L L Nageswara Rao and BR Gavai asked community-based organizations to prepare a list of sex workers in their area which will be verified by the relevant district legal service authorities.
In verification, the list must be forwarded to competent authority, the Commission said while directing the state authority to maintain confidentiality in this matter.
The APEX court also directs the State and the United States to complete the process of issuing voter / ration cards to sex workers.
“Countries, UTS is directed at completing the publishing process of the ration / voter card card and report to this court within two weeks since today.
The basis for identification of sex workers does not need to be limited to the list provided by NACO.

Anand Grover’s senior advocacy, appearing for the applicant, proposed that a large number of sex workers are left behind from the list available with NACO because it is in accordance with their scheme, a minimum of 1,000 sex workers must be in the community on the basis of inclusion must be made in the list prepared by NACO.
In terms of the community of less than 1,000 sex workers, the community members found not to find their names in the list thus did not issue a ration or ration card, he said.
Grover also said that apart from the order passed by this court, Ransum was only provided intermittently by the state government to sex workers.
He said that all sex workers must qualify for rations through a ration card.
Jayant Bhushan’s senior advocate, which was appointed by Amicus Curiae in this matter, stated that proving rations to sex workers should not be stopped by the state for any reason.
Bhushan stated that this court explained that the information provided by community-based organizations must be taken into account for preparation for sex workers.
Advice for Indian Unique Identification Authority stated that he would take instructions on advice from Amicus regarding the release to send evidence of residence by sex workers who could be given aadhaar cards prepared by NACO.
The problem will now be heard after four weeks.
Observing that fundamental rights guaranteed to every citizen regardless of the call, the peak court has directed the center, all states and the United States to begin the process of publishing voters, aadhaar and ration cards to sex workers and continue to provide dry rations to them.
