Melbourne: Former Christian beaks Beams want the Indian-Australia multi-format series named after Jhulan Goswami and Cathryn Fitzpatrick, the legend of the speed of each country.
The beam, which plays a woman’s test for Australia in 2015 and 30 ODIS and 18 T20IS between 2014 and 2017, said it would be the right award for two great players if the trophy was named after the duo.
He made suggestions as India and Australia started their T20i feet from the multi-format series on Thursday at the Gold Coast.
The winner, which will be decided based on a point-based system, will win the ‘Indian / Australian Women’s Series Trophy’.
“First, both Jhulan Goswami and Cathryn Fitzpatrick played the three formats that formed this series and their records in each of themselves,” said Beams in the writing that appeared at Cricket.com.au.
“Then there is their dominance of sports.
They both did it, collectively took 580 international net, which was a surprising amount.” GOSWAMI is 38 years old, who made India’s debut in 2002, has played in 12 tests, 192 ODIS and 68 T20IS.
He has taken 44 goals in the test, 240 in Odis and 56 in T20IS.
He is part of the Indian team which is currently traveling around Australia for multi-format series.
Fitzpatrick is 53 years old, which debuted for Australia in 1991, playing 13 tests, 109 ODIS and 2 T20IS before their retirement.
He has 60 Wicket in the test, 180 in Odis and is not in T20IS.
Former other players also suggested the names of legendary players must be the eternal trophy to be named such as the Gavaskar border trophy for men’s teams.
Former Australian Mel Jones has suggested the trophy to be named after Shantha Ragaswamy Stalwarts and Margaret Jennings.
The beam says Goswami and Fitzpatrick are so dominant so that it runs very difficult to obtain, with both players boast of the economic level just a touch of more than three runs on Odi’s cricket.
“They lead their attacks, although very different.
Goswami, with his height, very fast and bounce and the awkward length has become a feature of his career, leaving the battery parked at the foot behind,” he said.
“Fitzpatrick Bowled Rapid, the ball slips towards you before you can move and he has his presence (some may call it intimidation) that the dream is made of.
He was feared, and I said it was an absolute compliment.” Beams also felt that the couple made a major contribution to the generation of fast bowlers in their respective countries.
“Above a long career like that, many bowlers will debut for India and Australia and have the opportunity to learn from the best.”
