Mumbai: Electricity Supply of Brihanmumbai (Best) on Wednesday launched a new corridor route that will ensure good bus frequencies for office visitors.
“The frequency will be 15 minutes during rush hour to serve in a hurry.
In the near future we will reduce the frequency to 10-12 minutes,” Lokesh Chandra’s best general manager said.
Route is: AC -1 from Colaba to Khodadad Circle, AC-1 from RC Church to Mahim, C-2 from Colaba to Dharavi, C-10 from Colaba to Dharavi, C-12 from Santacruz to Daharis, C-15 from Worli To Dindoshi, C-21 from Colaba to Anushakti Nagar, C-33 from Worli to Goregaon, C-40 from Square to Dindoshi, C-42 from Sion to Dadlani Park, Thane, C-42 from Zion to Cadbury Junction, Thane, C-51 from Colaba to Santacruz, C-53 from Ghatkopar to Kalaml, C-54 from Worli to Airoli.
Other routes include AC-60 from Deonar to Borivali which will be air-conditioned, C-61 from Mura to Mira Road, C-71 from Mahim to Mira Road, C-72 from Zion to Bhayander, C-86 from Backbay to Mahmah.
, C-302 from Zion to Mulund, C-305 from Backbay to Dharavi, C-440 from Wadala to Borivali, C-505 from Bandra to CBD Laklapur, C-513 from Mulund to Vashi, C-521 from Wadala to Ghansoli, C-521 from Wadla, C-700 from Magathane to Thane and C-718 from Dindoshi to Bhayander.
The best has also canceled 23 bus routes in Mumbai.
“In fact, we have two routes traveling in the same direction and the bus ran near each other.
Now we have combined two routes to make one route with a better frequency,” Chandra said, added that the canceled routes combined with other routes in the same direction.
This includes the C-6 route number from Mantalaya to Ambedkar Udyan, C-98 from Mantalaya to Shivaji Nagar, number 20 from SP Mukherjee Chowk to Shivaji Nagar, 43 of Mazgaon to Pratiksha Nagar, BKC 10 of the BBC, BKC 12 of Bandra Railway Terminus for Jal Viyu Vihar, BKC 13 of Bandra Terminus to Mulund and BKC 16 of BKC to SEEPZ and 30LTD from Mumbai Central to Vikhroli.
