Mumbai: Anticipating the third wave of Coronavirus, the electricity supply of Brihanmumbai (BEST) has announced that he has started testing the “maintenance point” of drives for strong 36,000 workers.

So far, 3,482 frontline workers have been infected by viruses, where 84 percent of infections are reported in the first wave and 16 percent in the second wave.
“We have reviewed all severe cases in the first and second waves, and the driver / conductor that has the highest chance to get an infection monitored regularly,” said the best medical head of Anil Kumar Singal.
As part of the drive, the Covid-19 test of this employee will often be done, he said.
It also released a graph that shows that 147 workers have severe infections in the first wave, moderate infection 443 and 2020 minor infections.
In the second wave, this reduces up to 15 severe infections, 50 mild infections and 276 lightweight.
“Our efforts are reducing the number of cases to a minimum in the third wave,” other senior officials said.
Statistics showed that in July last year (first wave), cases had peaked in 767 positive patients that month in August and September last year, cases of 457 and 476 respectively in the past two months, the cases declined drastically.
Also, while 80 percent have received their first jab, almost 55 percent of the driver and conductor are fully vaccinated.
