Madurai: While they are usually the best performing from the school education department receiving recognition during the Republican Day celebration, as the first time, this time in the Madurai District, the three best performing volunteers who took the class under the ‘iLlam Thedi Kalvi’ scheme were also respected.
The best performing volunteers in Madurai Regency are all women, namely, M Pandiselvi from Andarkottaram-Ayyanar Nagar Center, C Nanthini from Puphu Colony, K Gandhigramam Center, and C Lelahai from Soolapuram-Ulaipatti Center.
The Ministry of Education official said that the recognition would encourage the volunteer of the ‘Illam Thedi Kalvi’ scheme to feel more motivated.
Volunteers receive a certificate of appreciation from Madurai District Sekhar district collection during the Republican Day celebration held at Armed Reserve Ground on Wednesday.
In addition, the nine of the best performing teachers, including six postgraduate teachers and three postgraduate teachers, were also recognized because of their performance under the training of ‘Magizh Kanidham’ for mathematics activities held for the academic year 2021-2022.
