The big vaccine push was not before mid-July, his steps slowed in NCR

Noida / Ghaziabad: Drive mega vaccination that should begin since July 1 has now been postponed until mid-July because there are not enough doses available.
Over the past few days, new countries get only five to eight doses of everyday lakh, which are then distributed between 75 districts.
According to officials, to maintain the number of inoculation recorded in June, the country will need around 20 doses of lakh every day.
There is a small possibility of a cluster-based drive starting at any time before 15 July, senior official said.
Internal messages circulated on Friday by the Additional Secretary of the Head (Health), Amit Mohan Prasad, to all districts also stated the same thing.
“There seems to be a supply gap in the side of the manufacturer and we expect the situation to be normalized in the second half of July.
We send vaccine doses to the district every day depending on whatever we get from the center.
Some sites have been closed but the drive is active.
Cluster-based mega-based vaccination drive It has been postponed for now, “said Dr.
Ajay Ghai, state immunization officer.
Usually, Noida and Ghaziabad each have 65-70 vaccine sites every day.
But on Friday, only 36 noida center inoculated by people and in Ghaziabad, the number was 34.
While 10,797 people were inoculated in Ghaziabad on Friday, 6,397 took Jab in Noida.
In the last 15 days, the Budh Gautam district has been inoculated around 12,000 people every day.
“Only leading centers that see good foot open now.
We have enough covaxin doses for daily drives,” said Dr.
Deepak Ohri, Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Gautam Budh Nagar.
On Friday, Noida got 24,000 doses of covishield and Ghaziabad got 32,000 doses.
However, the source said the dose would be rationed and managed for the next four days.
That is, a maximum of 6,000 shots will be given in Noida for the next four days.
In Ghaziabad, 8,000 covishield doses will be provided.
Meanwhile, most vaccination centers in Ghaziabad struggled with crowd management.
Unlike Gautam Nagar’s neighbors, this district has not removed registration in place, which means, along with people with slots, others also land for walk-in.
“Ghaziabad has 11,000 vaccine doses for Friday.
Instead of sending vaccines to several centers, decisions have been taken to distribute them among all open sites, so that the crowd does not gather in a certain place,” said Ghaziabad CMO Dr.
Nk Gupta.
Some of the largest vaccination centers in Noida are Joint District Hospital, GIMS, Bhangel Public Health Center and ESIC Hospital.
Each of these rooms vaccinate at least 500 people every day.
But on Friday, all each got around 300 doses.
District hospitals in Noida and Ghaziabad currently operate at half their capacity when it comes to vaccinating people.
Officials at Noida Hospital said they could autoculate around 5,000 people every day if they have enough doses.
Previously, the Minister of State for Health, Atul Garg, said that there would be no shortage of vaccines in Ghaziabad after June 15 and the daily target for the district must be around 30,000 shots.
Meanwhile, despite the shortcomings, Gautam Budh Nagar crossed 12 lakh-marks for the dosage given on Friday, the highest number among all 75 districts in this country so far.
Of the 12 lakh, 10.5 lakh is the first dose and 1.5 lakh is the second dose.
