New Delhi: BJP Micro Donation Campaign will encourage the culture of public participation in politics by giving people a sense of ownership in the party, President JP Nadda said on Sunday.
Overcoming BJP Workers Yuva Morcha virtually, Nadda said the campaign was a big step towards transparent and self-sufficiency in the party.
Last year on December 25, which was a commemoration of the birth of BJP Stalwart and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, the party has launched the “special micro donation campaign”, trying to raise funds through small contributions from its members and others.
Some BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, contributed and urged others to contribute.
“This micro donation will strengthen democracy by ensuring that the party remains atamnirbhar (dependent on yourself) in the collection of funds in the best interests of the nation.
This will encourage the culture of public participation in politics by giving people.
Ownership at the party,” Nadda said.
He said that donations under this campaign could be as low as RS 5, and at the same time, donors could choose to contribute to a maximum RS 1,000.
“…
The micro donor campaign is a big step towards transparent and self-sufficiency in the party,” Nadda said.
BJP President also launched a Patrika Sushrican prepared by BJYM for its workers and citizens.
“Sushansa Patrika is an effort that should be praised by BJYM.
In a very simple way, it explains the purpose of each scheme, the beneficiaries, where to go, and how to benefit from the scheme,” Nadda said.
