New Delhi: India BMW on Thursday launched a new BMW M5 competition in India.
A full power sedan will be available as a fully built-up unit (CBU) and is priced at Rs 1.61.90,000 (ex-showroom prices).
The new BMW M5 competition provides performance features such as retuned chassis, new shock absorbers, track mode, active M differential with centralized intelligent controls, bespoke engine installations, multifunctional set-up buttons.
This model is equipped with a V8 engine with Turbo Twinpower technology that produces a maximum output of 625 hp and 750 nm peak torque with acceleration of 0-100 kmph in just 3.3 seconds.
The new M5 consists of a newly designed BMW laser lamp and a L-shaped light tube that connects to the kidney grille in narrow lines.
This rear design features a new 3D taillight with a solid LED blade that provides a new interpretation to the typical BMW “L-Shape”.
Features of the BMW Live Cockpit Professional Competition with the BMW 7.0 operating system offering 3D navigation, the display of 12.3-inch digital instruments behind the steering wheel and a larger 12.3-inch control screen.
This makes it easier to manage the driving dynamics system and the BMW m xDrive all-wheel drive, which can be converted into 2WD mode.
In addition, the M5 competition offers features in cabins such as wireless charging for cellphones, 16 Harman Kardon Speakers surround Sound Systems, and BMW movement control that recognizes six-handed movements that have been determined to control a number of functions.
