Tirupati: The police on Monday identified a burned body, found filled in suitcases near the SVRR Government General Hospital here about five days ago, because of a 27-year-old software engineer from Hyderabad.
The police suspected that her husband, who was in the run, might have committed a terrible murder.
Alipiri police have found an unknown woman’s body in a suitcase near the hospital five days ago.
The body scorched beyond recognition and it was difficult to find out whether it was a male or female.
The forensic team concluded that a woman belonging to a woman was around 30 years old.
The police examined CCTV recordings near and around the hospital area and managed to accuse the second accused of this case, a taxi driver who allegedly helped the main allegations in throwing away the body near the hospital.
Through his interrogation, the police identified the victims as Bhuvaneswari, from Chittoor Regency, who were married to Reddy Srikanth in Kadapa in 2019.
The couple was blessed with a child girl around 18 months old.
Bhuvaneswari is a software engineer and works with technology majors in Hyderabad.
The couple, who moved to Tirupati after Srikanth lost his job about three months ago, used to be fighting.
The police said Srikanth might have killed his wife angrily, putting his body in the suitcase and dumped it in an isolated place near the SVRR hospital on June 23.
The same night, he returned to place, pouring gasoline suitcases and arranged caught fire.
The police have launched a special team for Nab Srikanth, who are in the run.
