Mumbai: The body of a 21-year-old medical student who sank in the Ganga River in Tapovan in Haridwar earlier this week was taken to his residence in Mumbai on Sunday, said his family members.
However, two friends from Madhushree who had died of the cursake who were also afraid of drowning remain not violated even four days after the incident, they said.
“The body of the Kursange was taken to his residence on the outskirts of Borivali to do his last ritual,” Kin said, added some of them to go to Haridwar to claim the body.
A group of five friends, including the cursake, Kelar Apoorva, Melroy Dantes, Karan Mishra, and another girl, have gone to Tapovan in the northern state of the picnic picnic picnic.
Mishra, who had witnessed the incident on August 4, had told PTI by telephone from Haridwar that he and another girl swam on the river and came out, but three others, including the cursake, entered the deep water to take another sauce.
“They can’t return to the banks of the river because the water flow is strong and swept away.
One of them shouted for help, but we couldn’t do anything,” he said.
All students are Mumbai residents and outskirts expanded.
Mishra also said that Kelar and Dantes had not been traced in the Ganges.
