Noida: Confederation of Residents’ Welfare Associations – Uttar Pradesh (CORWA-UP) has planned to regulate the national conference of the citizen agency to discuss conservation and supply of drinking water.
This program will be held in Ghaziabad on November 23 and 24.
This association has received support from the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, Minister of Jal Shakti, is likely to be a leading guest at the conference.
Corwa-up has also proposed a national water authority setting to coordinate all matters relating to water conservation and pollution, storm water and home water drainage, pipe water supply and matters relating to Jal Nigam and Jal Kal Vibhag.
“We will hold the 8th National Rwas Conference on November 23 and 24 on drinking water.
For this, we will invite Minister of Gajendra Singh Shekhawat as the main guest to inaugurate the conference,” said Pawan Kaushik, President, Corwa-up.
Previously, such a conference was held in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi.
“Our goal is to connect all Uttar Pradesh regencies with residents’ bodies throughout the country,” said Mulendra Kumar Sharma, Corwa-up Finance Secretary.
