Kathmandu: The search team flew out to recover three bodies at a remote corner of Himalaya Nepal on Monday, close to the place where the French climbers lost last month.
The group tried to scale Mingbo Eiger, a peak of 6,000 meters (19,700 feet) near Mount Everest, and last heard from satellite phones from their camp on October 26.
Bad weather hampered the efforts of men and team members who tried to find them last week said they could be buried under the size of a five-story building.
Police Inspector Rishi Raj Dhakal told AFP that three bodies have been found in the search area by local mountain guides but too early to confirm their identity.
“Helicopter together with the rescue team of a professional mountain guide has been sent to bring the bodies,” he added.
Three young climbers – Thomas Arfi, Louis Pachoud and Gabriel Miloche – are part of a strong eight expedition.
They have divided into two groups to overcome different peaks.
Those people seem to have left their peak efforts and turned around when avalanches hit.
The climber had begun to return to Nepal after the Pandemic Coronavirus imposed the complete closure of his independence last year and destroyed the economy that depends on tourism.
The Himalayas of 30 million was reopened to tourists in September after cleaning quarantine requirements for vaccinated foreigners.
