Gurgaon: The Ministry of Health on Monday initiated an internal investigation and issued a notification of the show to a private hospital in sector 31 following a complaint by a gurgaon resident of ‘fake vaccination camp’.
The complainant said he had ordered a slot on the co-win portal at Chiranjeevi Hospital.
After reaching the facility on Saturday, he was told that the center did not give JABS because it did not have a vaccine to carry out the drive.
The woman was even directed to the government site and hospital staff accompanied her, he said.
After they reached the government site, hospital employees spoke to a staff nurse.
The woman, 33, alleged that even before she received her Jab, she received its certificate released on behalf of a private hospital.
After a shot, he was asked to pay.
He refused because of vaccines on free government sites.
The Ministry of Health has begun probe preliminary.
“We found a lot of gaps.
We asked the Gurgaon police to stay at the hospital and conduct detailed investigations,” said the Gurgaon Head of the Virender Medical Officer Yadav.
According to an investigation department, private hospitals are the designated private covid vaccination center until April 30.
From May 1, the hospital should buy its own vaccine.
However, the hospital did not have a Covid vaccine to carry out the drive after April 30, the department said.
After April 30, the hospital held a camp at least four occasions – June 26, June 30, July 1 and July 3 – where he wasoculates a total of 53 recipients and gave them a certificate.
