Hyderabad: The city receives light rain to being accompanied by gale on Sunday night after several regions receive around 50mm rainfall at night.
According to the People’s Development Planning Society, Gassibazar recorded a 48.8mm highest rainfall by 47.8mm in the Chandulal Baradari, 43.8mm in the LB Stadium.

“Every year when it rains, the area around Khairatabad RTA is flooded.
The slope of the Taj Krishna to Khairatabad RTA has become a vulnerable place for waterlogging.
However, there is no effort made to resolve this problem,” Mahesh J, a resident of Somajiguda.
Waterlogging is also reported in other areas such as Nagole, Old City, Chintalkunta, LB Nagar among other regions.
The rain sinks causing traffic growls in many parts of the city.
The Indian Meteorology Department (IMD), Hyderabad has extended the storm and warning of heavy rainfall in many districts including Hyderabad until July 22.
It has been associated with the east-west sliding zone beside the trough and cyclone circulation which continues above Telangana.
, As per the date of the IMD, Hyderabad has so far recorded 85 percent of excessive rainfall with 356.1mm rainfall compared to normal 309mm from June 1 to date.
