Gurgaon: The 23-year-old owner of Vendan liquor and Ahata in Sector 56 is suspected of being shot dead by a bouncer after the argument over salary.
The owner, Anil Kundu, has been arrested and booked for murder.
Phool Kumar (29) was among 15 Kundu people who were hired to run the vendor of their liquor in sector 56.
While Kundu came from the Rohtak district, Kumar lived in Charchi Dadri.
The source said Kumar worked with a monthly salary of Rs 15,000, but had not been paid for the past two to three months.
Every time he goes to Kundu to ask for his salary, owners of liquor will be suspected of quoting financial problems and delaying payments.
Because Kundu knew Kumar for a long time, he asked him to manage operations at the liquor outlet and Ahata too.
It was only four months since Kumar began working at AHATA – where customers could bring their own liquor and have it with food cooked there.
Allegations of murder occurred at Ahata at around 5.30 in the morning on Monday.
Kundu and Kumar suffered liquor along with several others since midnight.
“Early in the morning, an argument broke out between Kumar and Kundu for a delayed salary.
In anger, Kundu revoked his licensed revolver and shot Kumar Dead,” said ACP (aware) safely Yadav.
The bullet hit his neck and Kumar died before being taken to hospital by the police team.
Naseem Singh, Kumar’s father, said the argument for salary was broken between the two before.
A case was registered against Kundu below Section 302 (Murder) of IPC at the Sector 56 police station on Monday.
