LONDON: The UK has recorded more than 50,000 new daily Coronavirus cases, the highest number since mid-January, according to official data released on Friday.
The country reported 51,870 other Coronavirus cases in the latest 24 hours, so the total number of Coronavirus in this country became 5,332,371, official figures showed.
The country also recorded 49 deaths related to other Coronavirus.
The total number of deaths related to Coronavirus in the UK now stands at 128,642.
These numbers only include the deaths of people who died within 28 days after their first positive test.
The British government has confirmed that most of the restrictions of Covid-19 in the UK will end on Monday as part of the last step or step four English road maps out of locking.
But scientists have warned that raising all restrictions at this stage can increase the possibility of dangerous variants.
