Thiruvananthapuram: The castle police in the city on Tuesday arrested two men allegedly involved in peddling marijuana.
The police identified the defendant as Haja, 38, and his brother, Rafi, 37, from Karadom Colony here.
The police have also confiscated nearly 500 grams of marijuana from the two men.
The police said that the two men were arrested as a result of the police managed by the police on drug and marijuana mafia activities in the city.
Recently, the Commissioner of Sheen Tharayil City Narcotics Cell Assistant received information about the illegal activities of the two brothers.

They were arrested after members of Narcotics cells and the Fort Police Station carried out a joint attack at their home where they found marijuana.
Officials from the castle police station who took part in the attack were led by the Chandran Sub Inspector, Sauju Abraham and Premachandran.
