The businessman D’Gere recover lost money for cybercriminal

Davanagere: Violations of Cyber, Economics and Narcotics (CEN) Police wing Davanagere managed to help a victim of Cybercrime restore the money stolen from his account.
Venkateshwara Rao, a businessman from the layout of Saraswathi in Davanagere, was contacted by foreigners who pretended to be a bank officer on the telephone.
The stranger looked for the details of Bank Rao’s account, because entrepreneurs have blocked the ATM card.
The stranger convinced Rao to clean the ATM card to use, and after getting all the information needed, including OTP, needed for transactions, stole a number of Rs 1 lakh from the victim’s account.
The case was registered at the Davanagere CEN police station.
CEN Inspector Girish said that the police waste time.
“Rao submitted a request immediately after the money was stolen from his account.
The clock that soon followed a crime was referred to as the golden clock, and with a telephone number from the mysterious caller provided by Rao, we can track transactions to the three banks, and freeze a number of Rs 75,696 belonging to a cheater account.
After getting permission from the court, the money was returned to Rao on Thursday, “Girish said, it was interesting to the public to waste time enrolling their complaints after the instance.
