The cabinet nodded a ration card scheme in Delhi

New Delhi: In a significant movement, the Delhi Cabinet has decided to implement the One One Ration (Onorc) card scheme that will enable poor migrants, which come to the capital looking for livelihoods, to get a ration using a public distribution system (PDS card) issued for them in their original state.
The next pandemic and locking destroyed the poor, especially migrant workers who lost their livelihood choices.
Onorc will help them put out the crisis because they will be able to get a free allotment under the National Food Security Law, 2013 (NFSA) and under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana from Tuesday on Tuesday.
In a statement, the Delhi Government said, “All beneficiaries will get a free ration in a gradual cost through e-posts (electronic sales points) after biometric authentication in all fair price stores.
Migrant recipients have the right and identified ration cards Under NFSA in their parents’ countries will also get a free allotment below this plan.
“Free rations will be distributed to around 72 Lakh beneficiaries attached to around 17 lakh households.
Saurabh Gupta and Shailendra Kumar, who represented a fair price shop trade union, said the ration under Onorc would be distributed from Tuesday based on the Food Department’s command.
The Department of Food issued orders on Monday night request a fair price store to ensure free distribution of interference.
They were also asked to display the council that detailed this right to all beneficiaries.
All Zonal Assistants Commissioner, security officers and food inspectors circle have been directed to ensure the distribution of certain food articles in all the shops through e-pos after biometric authentication.
More than 2,000 reasonable prices in Delhi have successfully conducted a trial of e-post machines.
The implementation will come as a blessing for thousands of migrant workers who lose free or subsidized rations when they migrate to Delhi to find work.
At present, all migrant workers cannot use a ration card issued by Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan and other countries.
In Delhi, under NFSA, the beneficiary is provided by 5kg of the yard every month under regular rights, including 4kg and 1kg rice wheat.
Regular rights under the Aay category are 25kg wheat per household, 10kg rice and 1kg sugar.
The fixed costs for their rights are Rs 2 per kg for wheat, Rs 3 per kg for rice and rs 13.5 per kg for sugar, which is currently not charged from the recipient of NFS and Aay.
Minister of Food and Supply Imran Hussain said that during locking, the Department of Food had succeeded in making efforts to meet the requirements of the part of the poor and vulnerable.
“Now, we have implemented Onorc policies, which will benefit migrants who live in Delhi to get a free ration,” he added.
All fair price store license holders have also been instructed to observe the necessary precautions to ensure the safety of beneficiaries when distributing rations.
They must notify them that supply will be available in sufficient quantities.
There should be no chaos and panic in getting a quota.
Beneficiaries can call the 1967 Helpline number because they get their complaints overcome.
