The cabinet nodded for a new home for 11 ministers in the state capital

Ranchi: 11 Ministers of Jharkhand Cabinet will soon have a new home for themselves.
The State Cabinet on Thursday approved the proposal for the state urban development department to build a residence of 11 ministers of Jharkhand Cabinet in the Smart City Ranchi area in Dhurwa with a total of Rs 69.9 Crore.
The source in the department said the detailed project report for new construction was prepared.
However, the Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren will continue to live in the current government bungalow on Jalan Kanke.
BJP criticized the cabinet’s decision.
“The Jharkhand government has complained that its income was hit because of extraordinary locking and contributions (from the center).
In such circumstances, this money can be used to improve infrastructure in the hospital,” said Pratul Shahdeo Party spokesman.
The State Cabinet on Thursday reversed his decision and opened the way to auctione seven iron ore mine in West Singhbhum Regency for the use of prisoners.
On August 18 last year, the Cabinet had approved the proposal for the Mining Mining Department to order seven iron ore blocks for the Jharkhand State Mineral Development Development (JSMDC).
JSMDC is authorized to allocate these mine to the state-owned company.
“The cabinet made today’s decision based on the Mines Mines advice that these blocks were prepared to be auctioned.
This center suggested that these blocks be reserved if the lessor failed to start production,” Vandana Dadel’s Cabinet Secretary said after the meeting.
Before being reserved by the state, the rent for the iron ore block was held by M / S Rameshwar Rami Mills in Bariburu (258 hectares), M / S Nirmal Kumar Pradip Kumar in Ghatkuri (149 hectares), Padam Kumar Jain in Thakurani (84 hectares), Mishri Lal Jain and the sons in Karampada (202 hectares), M / S Shah Brothers in Karampada (233 hectares), M / S Rungta and in Ghatkuri (138 hectares).
Together, blocks have iron ore reserves of 228.07 million tons and are spread at 1,178.59 hectares.
In another decision, the cabinet limits the maximum number of rice which will be obtained from one farmer in 200 quintals for the Kharif season this year.
“The decision was taken to ensure that maximum farmers were included in the rice procurement scheme,” said Dadel.
This year, the government aims to get 8 metric metrics of rice from state farmers with Rs 2,050 per quintal.
The cabinet also provided a nod to the proposal to establish a CCTV camera in 20 district courts throughout the Jharkhand at a clean cost of Rs 52 Crore.
CCTV cameras are currently installed in the court complex in Ranchi, Dhanbad, Chaibasa and Daltonganj.
In another decision, the Cabinet gave a nod to establish three houses halfway in Ranchi, Dhanbad and East Singhbhum Regency to accommodate special patients who had recovered from mental health problems.
Each house can accommodate 30 people at once and will be built by the Department of Women and Child Welfare.
