Ghaziabad: The Ghaziabad police have issued a collective Challan of Rs 62,000 to three young men for allegedly take action with three cars in the rain on Sunday afternoon.
The incident video, which became a viral on social media, showed the young men who sat in the car window, playing Hooters and driving a car by zigzag in the Vijay Nagar area.
SP (Traffic) Ramanand Kushwaha told Toi that the police took the number three cars from the video and issued several Challans to the driver, which was identified as Suraj Pal Singh, Rahul Nagar and Shekhar Kumar, all aged over 20 years.
Kushwaha said, “There are about four people in every car.
Singh gets a challans for racing (Rs 5,000), driving without a license (Rs 5,000), for violating the norms of voice pollution (RS 10,000), because it does not have a car insurance certificate (RS 2,000).
Nagar gets Challans of Rs 5,000 to take action, Rs 5,000 for driving without licenses and 10,000 rs for violating voice pollution norms.
