Noida: While 534 people were tested positive for Covid in Gautam Budh Nagar for the past 24 hours, at least two more deaths were also reported in the district that pushed the sixth virus toll road.
On Wednesday, the district has recorded 727 fresh infections while two people, including a teenager and septuagenarian, has given up due to infection.
A 20-year-old woman died of a disease on Tuesday.
So far, 475 people give up on this disease since the plague of pandemic.
According to district health officials, the fatality recorded during the current pandemic wave is largely due to comorbidity in patients.
However, they said, the district has recorded less than 1,000 cases since January 22, except on January 25 when adding 1,373 patients, which can be an indication of the initial plateau in the number of cases.
On Thursday, a 61-year-old man, who has comorbidity such as chronic obstructive lung disease (COPD) and heart disease, surrendered to disease while undergoing treatment at GIMS.
Patients, said the doctor, died of complications related to comorbidity and covid.
A 70-year-old man who is undergoing treatment at a private hospital for a disease related to the heart during the last 13 days, and has been tested positive for viral.

In Ghaziabad, a 74-year-old man, who was received at Santosh Medical College since January 25 after a complaint of shortness of breath, surrendered on Thursday.
The patient has taken the first dose of vaccines but has comorbid conditions such as heart disease and diabetes, officials said.
This is the 10th Covid death in the district of this year.
So, far 470 deaths because infection has been recorded in the district since March 2020.
The district also saw 588 new cases that day.
“Most of the Covid’s related deaths recorded this year is because of comorbidity in patients.
We have standard practices to test all patients who are hospitalized for infection,” Ghaziabad District Supervision Officer Dr.
Rakesh Gupta told toi.
Of the 10 deaths related to Covid reported in Ghaziabad this month, most of them are men aged between 60 and 81 years.
With chronic liver disease, respiratory disorders, diabetes, and heart disease.
Three people, meanwhile, between 17 and 31 years old and have comorbid conditions including TB, respiratory pressure, cardiopulmonary disorders and prolonged weaknesses.
