Noida: A 17-year-old boy without a known comorbid condition is among the two men to surrender to Coronavirus disease in Ghaziabad in the last 24 hours.
The other 20-year-old woman died in Gautam Budh Nagar while undergoing treatment for viral infections at the Institute of Government of Medicine (GIMS).
In January, Ghaziabad had recorded seven deaths because Covid, who took the total toll since the plague of Pandemi in March 2020 to 468.
On January 22, a 40-year-old woman from Loni had surrendered when undergoing treatment in the district.
In GB Nagar, officials said four people had given up on the infection in the current year, which catapulted total death Covid to 471.
On January 21, a 27-year-old man had died during hospital treatment at GB Nagar Hospital.
According to health officials, the 17-year-old boy, a modinagar citizen, has complained of shortness of breath, dry coughing and weaknesses for several months but do not have comorbidity.
He was accepted at LLRM Medical College in Meerut after testing positive Covid on January 21.
