Two years ago, a terrible incident occurred on the outskirts of Hyderabad, where an innocent doctor was raped, killed, and burned with four men and terrible memories it was still fresh in the minds of the people.
Now, a case has been submitted by a lawyer based in Delhi, requesting 38 film celebrities from Tollywood and Bollywood because it reveals the real name of the rape victim on the social media platform.
This case has been submitted against Anupam Kher, Farhan Akhtar, Ajay Devn, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Maharaja Ravi Teja, Rakul Preet Singh, Allu Sirish, Charme Kaur, and other celebrities who mention the victim’s real name while tweeting about the incident.
This contradicts directly with court assessment that prohibits the use of the names of rape victims on any public platform.
According to the latest report, a lawyer based in Delhi Gaurav Gulati has filed a complaint about celebrities regarding the police station Sabzi bathing under the IPC 228 A section and has also submitted a petition in the Court of Tees Hazari, accusing that this celebrity does not become a responsible citizen .
Gulati accused celebrities reveal the name of the rape victim even though the law prohibits action.
This case has been submitted as a celebrity instead of establishing an example for others by not publishing the names of the victims, have violated the rules by revealing their original identity on the social media platform.
Therefore lawyers reportedly requested an immediate arrest of all celebrities above, allebting that they did not show social responsibility while maintaining victims’ privacy.
