Sultanpur (above): The local court on Wednesday was issued an arrest warrant against BJP MLA Swami Prasad Maurya, who recently resigned as a minister of cabinet, in the case of seven years.
This case was submitted against Maurya in 2014 for allegedly making unpleasant comments on Hindu gods.
Court Judge MP-MLA Yogesh Kumar Yadav issued a warrant against him after he did not attend the court hearing on Wednesday.
In 2016, the arrest warrant was issued against him in the same case living near Lucknow Bench from the Allahabad High Court.
Publish a warrant, the judge remains January 24 as the next hearing date.
