The cave industry is closed, but students mining techniques glow from Rajasthan to Australia

PANAJI: The mining technical program at the Goa Engineering College (GEC) may have emerged to reach obstacles two years ago, when receipt must be stopped due to soaking in registration after the highest court of local mining operations.

Other students, Ridhi Dressker, served as senior mining engineers in the Vedanta Mining Operations Department in Goa, while Priya Pandey – who proceeded to pursue MTech in the field of prestigious IIT, Dhanbad – has now received the order of his appointment from Australia’s mines from Australia.

“Student achievements have been extraordinary,” said the GEC Principal, Rajesh B Lohani.
Incidentally, women in India were allowed to work in an underground mine only from 2019 after a landmark decision by the central government.
The four-year mining technical degree program was introduced in GEC from 2011-12.
The department began as a collaboration between the state government and Sesa Goa.
It was the first Public Private Private (PPP) model in the education sector in Goa, forged under Director of Technical Education, Vivek Kamat.
“In a course that is conventionally considered suitable for boys, many girls take reception, graduate with the color of flying and also assume the role of leadership in the mining industry,” said the Head of the Department of Ulhas Saliker.
It was very encouraging to see about 10 girls who fainted from the Ministry of Mining in the past six years, said faculty members said.
Many male graduates from the program in GEC have also cleaned FCMMCC.
