Panaji: The Central Investigation Bureau has arrested a Mumbai man in Goa for children who abuse sexually, record actions and sell videos through the dark web.
The CBI also identified 25-30 survivors, both men and women, in the age group 12-21, said the source.
Children targeted by pedophiles from Goa and Maharashtra, and investigations still have to find out how he was trapped and managed to harass the children.
Pedophile is also related to people abroad to sell videos.
The source at the Bureau said they had received input from its interpol interpol unit about the pedophile network operated from Goa.
The CBI registered the case against him and other unknown people on June 22 last year.
The defendant was arrested recently and, on the settlement of police prisoners, produced on Tuesday before the Pocso Court in Goa and has been returned in custody of the judiciary.
“The man originally came from Mumbai, and after completing the course in the hotel management, he was looking for a job in Goa, where he worked as a chef, and he began to abuse children,” said a source.
In accordance with FIR, the defendant was involved in children’s sexual abuse in Goa and Maharashtra, and also recorded this action by using his cellphone, digital cameras and other electronic devices.
“Furthermore it was suspected that these photos and video films containing children’s sexual harassment were published / transmitted by people accused of using internet facilities and the defendant using a dark web for sale, transmission and sharing / trading the child content of harassment content Sexual with other individuals, “CBI said in an official statement on Wednesday.
The defendant also uses social networking and platform websites such as Instagram and WhatsApp to connect with overseas individuals to trade and share this material in large quantities, the CBI said.

During search, cellphone, hard drive, pen drive and laptop, allegedly used by the defendant to access the material, restored.
Some children who have been harassed now are adults, the CBI source said.
