The CBI file fee sheet in the case of a naval leakage on 2 commanders, 4 others

New Delhi: CBI on Tuesday filed two sheets associated with alleged leaking confidential information about two different naval projects, officials said.
This is one of the fastest probes in defense corruption cases because the agency submitted a cost sheet within 60 days since the first arrest made on September 3 to ensure that the defendant arrested is not easy.
In one sheet of costs, the CBI named Pension Navy Officers – Communories Randeep Singh and Commander SJ Singh – While in the second case, in addition to these two, serving commanders Ajeet Kumar Pandey, and three executives of the Allen Reinforced Plastics based in Hyderabad Ltd.
– Executive Director TP Shastri and the Directors of NB Rao and K Chandrasekhar – have been registered.
The CBI has arrested six people including two retired officers, Pandey, other servants officers underneath and two private individuals in an operation that began in September 3.
One of the Navy officers under detention had not been mentioned in the accusation sheet.
Registered on an additional cost sheet that will be submitted immediately.
The CBI must submit a charging sheet within 60 days after the arrest is accused of corruption, otherwise they qualify for guarantees.
The limit for special crime cases is 90 days.
“We have filed two separate charges because we investigate the roles accused of two different naval projects,” said an official.
In the load sheet it was submitted before the CBI Special Court in Roube Avenue, the CBI has slapped part 120-B (criminal conspiracy) from the Indian criminal code and the provisions of preventing the Corruption Act.
This case began when the agency received the input that several officers who served at the Western Navy’s headquarters who worked on reinforcement of the Russian grade submarine allegedly influenced by retired naval officers and received the benefits of money, officials said.
After registering the case on September 2, CBI conducted a search on the next day where two retired officers Commodore Randeep Singh and Commander SJ Singh, who worked for Korean submarine companies, were arrested, they said.
During the search for Rs 2.40 Crore restored which included trap money, officials said.
Then during the probe, CBI demanded two naval commanders, they said.
Dealers and directions Hawala suspected of being private companies were also detained during the investigation, officials said.
Allegedly that the officers served commander rankings in the Navy allegedly leaked confidential information to their retired officers in return for money profits.
Resources say further investigation continues and the role of some foreign nationals is also under the scanner.
Anti-corruption unit from agency, which handles sensitive corruption cases and high profile, is assigned to explore information leakage after the operation that starts, they said.
This unit has questioned several other officers and former servicens who regularly come into contact with officers arrested and retired personnel, they said.
CBI is carrying out a digital product forensic analysis used by officers to understand whether the information falls into the hands of people with personal interests, they said.
“Investigations related to alleged information on administrative and commercial leaks are with several unauthorized personnel coming and being investigated by the right government institutions,” Navy said in a statement.
Investigation by agency with the full support of the Indian Navy is ongoing, that word.
Internal questions by the Navy are also developing, he said.
