Lucknow: The Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) has given Chit Chit to the former Bahujan Party Summons (BSP) MLA Puja Pal, his brother and five in the case of the murder of Lalit Verma from Prayagraj.
The CBI has registered FIR in September 2019 and began an investigation after a high court order.
Lalit Kumar, 28, was shot on February 3, 2016, after that Vinod’s father had a case that accused the former BSP Poo Palam Rahul Pal, Dilip Pal, Palat Prithvi, Rajesh Tripathi, Sandeep Yadav, and Mukesh Kesharwani had attacked him, his son Lalit and Nephew Vikram Kumar when they will meet with a lawyer.
Vinod said the accused of traveling in the SUV had intercepted the Vikram motorbike where Lalite drove a pillion and shoot the last.
Vikram also suffered a minor injury and was a witness of the incident, said Vinod, claiming he had a property dispute with former MLA and his brother.

Vinod, meanwhile, moved the court demanding the CBI probe.
