Mumbai: The CBI has registered a separate case related to the leakage report on his officials and lawyers Anil Deshmukh Anand Daga, and look for CBI home Inspector Abhishek Tiwari in Delhi and Allahabad.
Former Minister of State House Deshmukh’s Laywer Daga bribed Tiwari by giving him an iPhone 12 Pro worth RS one lakh besides money on different occasions to forward sensitive documents and information related cases, the CBI has said in FIR.
The agency team headed by DSP R S Gunjiyal and Tiwari came to Mumbai from Delhi to conduct an investigation into the case of Deshmukh.
During the examination, the team questioned many witnesses and suspects, including Deshmukh.
During the process, Dyaga touched Tiwari.
Furthermore, Gunjiyal’s investigation officer submitted PE reports on April 16, and Tiwari helped him during report preparation and investigative processes.
The CBI took a legal opinion on PE reports and decided to register a corruption case against Deshmukh based on evidence for further investigation.
Team members visited several places during the investigation to gather evidence.
Tiwari had visited Pune for a case investigation, where he met Daga, CBI said.
Daga gave her Pro iPhone 12 during the meeting.
FIR CBI said that “it reliably knows that Tiwari has gained illegal satisfaction from Dagaga at the regular interval (SIC)”.
