The CBI submitted a cost sheet of 96 higher officers in the last 3 years: Government

New Delhi: Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) has submitted a cost sheet of 96 higher officers in the last three years, Lok Sabha was told on Wednesday.
“During the period from 01.01.2018 to 30.06.2021, the Central Investigation Bureau (CBI) had submitted a cost sheet in 84 cases against 96 higher officers under the jurisdiction of the trade union government, including officers chosen by the Union Public Service Commission.” The State Minister for Personnel Jitendra Singh said in a written reply.
Actions, the appropriate was taken by the relevant authorities in such cases, he said.
The government was questioned the details of the cost sheets submitted in various courts with respect to corruption or other crimes committed by higher officers under the jurisdiction of the government union and officers or employees chosen by UPSC.
