PANAJI: Minister of Union for road transportation and Jalan Raya Nitin Gadkari on Tuesday gave approval for four new four new lanting projects in the state with 1,250 crore rs costs.
These projects include the construction of four paved shoulders from the Navelim section to Cuncolim, 6.5 km – stretching with the cost of Rs 270 Crore, from the tip of canacona bypass to the pollem, stretch 8km along the cave-karnataka.
The border with the cost of RS 175 Crore, from Sanjivani Sugar Factory to Khandper at a cost of 200 crore, and from Ponda to Bhoma at a cost of Rs 575 Crore.
Gadkari said that the first phase of the Zuari Bridge would be inaugurated before December 15.
He added that he had directed that the path of the approach was completed before December 10 and was inaugurated.
He also said that last year’s annual plan for Goa was Rs 2,000 Crore, and had been upgraded to Rs 5,000 Crore.
“We have provided an additional Rs 3,000 Crore,” he said.
Gadkari held a meeting review of the NH project and the highway presentation working together with the CM Pramod Sawant and PWD Minister Deepak Pauskar, among others.
Gadkari said that to date, the development work of more than RS 25,000 Crore has been taken in the state, including projects under Bharatmala and Sagarmala, such as Mandovi and Zuari Bridges.
Gadkari said that the quality of the Zauri bridge was good, and because China’s consultant could not get a visa to travel to India, there were several obstacles.
“Sawant has written to the Ministry of External Affairs Union to provide a visa, and I will write to the Ministry.
We want to delete all these obstacles and hope the bridge is finished as soon as possible,” he said.
He also said that the land obtained for a toll booth near the Zuari bridge will now be used for roadside facilities including restaurants, gas stations, and gas stations.
“I have given instructions to make a good design,” he said, adding that on the new Zuari Bridge, there will be a viewfer gallery, museum, and a rotating restaurant.
He also said that the state government has provided around 60 hectares of land, and this will be used for tourism activities and that locals can sell local products.
“We have directed the publishing of tenders as soon as possible, and before December 15, we want to put the foundation stone for the project and the work for the viewer gallery will begin, and it will be an attraction for tourists,” he said, adding that the tender for the Observatory tower was in the process .
Gadkari also said that the acquisition of land for the road to the Mopa Airport was completed.
“We have to do this fast track, and we will put the foundation stone before December 15,” he said.
The Union Minister said that whatever issue in completing Jalan Sada to Varnapuri was completed, and that the port of port connectivity would be inaugurated before December 15.
Gadkari said that the acquisition of land was completed, the tender would float for the construction of the Borim Bridge.
