New Delhi: The center on Thursday asked the country and the United States to conduct rapid gap analysis for various infrastructure components under the Covid-19 emergency response package and emphasized effective advanced preparation for efficient infection management.

Focus on the need to improve tests, tracks, treats and isolating strategies, requirements to increase testing capacity, additional beds, including children and emergency hospital care at the sub-district level, ensuring the availability of critical drugs, testing kits, and PPE, improving Availability of oxygen and strengthening homes and villages, community insulation centers and Covid care centers highlighted during meetings.
The last year of MBBS students, UG Internships and PG residents can be used under the supervision of the faculty in accordance with the National Medical Commission guidelines to provide mild Covid management services through telephoto consultations, countries and UTS told.
