The Ministry of Jal Shakti’s actions stated that the Jurisdiction of KRMB and GRMB and took over all major and medium irrigation projects no one violated Telangana’s strength.
Irrigation is the subject of the country and not on the same list.
The center cannot take over all the strength of the country.
The Telangana government has struggled for a legitimate part of Krishna’s waters who seek improvement in injustice stacked into the Telangana region in the united AP.
However, the center has made injustice for Telangana once again by issuing the latency notice of Krishna’s jurisdiction and Godavari basins unilaterally.
The Ministry of Jang Shakti should consult with the Telangana government and take opinions before completing jurisdiction.
There was no dispute about irrigation projects built on the Godavari River and no public projects too.
However, the Ministry chose to include 71 projects at Godavari Basin under the Grmb scope.
At present, of the total 811 TMCFF from Air Krishna, Telangana only received 299 TMCFT in a temporary allocation while 512 TMCFT was given to the AP.
Telangana should get 565 TMCFT and the rest must go to the AP.
CM K Chandrasekhar Rao has written several letters to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Jal Shakti Ministry to resolve water problems.
In the guarantee given by Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat during the second APEX board meeting held in October 2020, the state government has resigned at the Supreme Court and wrote a letter to the center.
But, there is no answer from the center.
It seems that the center has acted on a letter written by AP CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy who wants the Ministry of Jal Shakti to take over all projects in Krishna and Godavari Rivers.
BJP President Telangana Bandi Sanjay also looks for similar actions from the center.
Going with this, both Jagan and Sanjay influenced the publishing center of this sheet notification.
The author is Finance Minister Telangana.
