New Delhi: The Government Government has decided to continue the presence of biometric for employees of all levels from November 8, the Ministry of Personnel said on Monday.
This will be the responsibility of the Department’s head to ensure that the sanitiser placed next to the biometric machine and all employees clean their hands before and after marking the presence, he said.
Previous employees were released from biometric presence due to the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.
“The six-foot physical distance must be maintained by all employees while marking their presence.
If needed, additional biometric attendance machines can be installed to avoid density,” said the Ministry of Personnel in a central government ministry and department.
All employees must be asked to wear a mask or face cover at any time, including while waiting to mark their presence, he said.
“Meeting, as far as possible, will continue to be done at video conferences and personal meetings with visitors, unless necessary in public interest, it must be avoided,” he command.
All officers and staff must strictly follow the corresponding behavior of Covid at any time in the office, the Ministry of Personnel said.
