New Delhi: The central government’s fiscal deficit reaches Rs 3.21 Lakh Crore or 21.3 percent of the budget estimate at the end of July, according to the data released by the General Controller account (CGA) on Tuesday.
The fiscal deficit number appeared much better than the previous financial year, when it jumped to 103.1 percent of estimates, mainly due to spurs to handle Covid-19 pandemics.
The fiscal deficit or gap between expenditure and income for 2020-21 is 9.3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP), better than 9.5 percent projected in revised estimates in the budget in February.
In accordance with data, the total central government revenue reached Rs 6.83 Lakh Crore or 34.6 percent from 2021-22 to July 2021.
Total receipt was 10.4 percent from 2019-20 in the same period in 2019-20 in the period Sama’s last financial year.
Of the total acceptance until 2021 July 2021, Rs 5.29,189 Crore is tax income (net to the center), Rs 1,39,960 Crore non-tax income and RS 14,148 Crore Quickot non-debt.
Non-debt capital revenues consist of loan recovery worth RS 5,777 crore and disinvestment of Rs 8,371 Crore.
Furthermore, RS 1,65,064 Crore was transferred to the state government as a devolution of the tax distribution by the center until July 2021.
The total government expenditure was Rs 10.04 lakh crore or 28.8 percent of the appropriate schedule 2021-22.
Expenditure was 34.7 percent from 2019-20 in the last fiscal period last.
Of the total expenditure for the first four months of the current fiscal, RS 8.76,012 Crore is in the account of income and RS 1,28,428 Crore on a capital account.
Of the total income expenditure, Rs 2,25,817 Crore due to interest payments and 1,20,069 crore rs against the main subsidy.
